New Blog Joins The Family

I know that this is a bit off-topic, but I am working on the online marketing of the family business and enjoying writing about other topics - not that I don't love the Costa Brava, but it enriches life to change the vista occasionally!

Take a look at Garden Lifestyle, all about enriching your garden with recipes, entertainment, garden furniture and fun.

The family business at Poly-Wood.co.uk and CountryFieldGardens.co.uk are also interesting sites to visit for quality garden furniture, paddock maintenance and large garden equipment.

Go on - I dare you! Sit back, relax and forget about it!

Costa Brava Weather Today on Squidoo

Costa Brava Weather is the title of my lastest Squidoo lens. I think I am getting the bug for writing these informative websites, where you can find anything you can possibly think of, from Vera Bradley handbags to why you should drink more water!

I am sticking to what I know best at the moment. Perhaps there will be time later to branch out into something more wacky, but the Costa Brava has caught my attention for the time being.

We have been having a fantastic summer here with beautiful blue skies, endless hours of sunshine and hot temperatures. The beach is just waiting for your sun-creamed body to support you whilst you gain that bronzed look and the crystal clear water is waiting to cool you off when it gets too hot.

Why not go and find out more about the Costa Brava by taking a look at the Squidoo lens and do let me know what you think of it by rating it and leaving a comment. I would love to hear from you.

Better still, why not start your own Squidoo lens and tell the world about your own hobbies or ideas?

Barcelona Zoo vs. Australia Zoo

What do Australia Zoo and Barcelona Zoo have in common?

Well, as you might expect zoo is common to both, but the type of animals and energy that they both have are very different.

The Barcelona Zoo specializes in diverse species such as the Majorcan Midwife Toad, Mangabeys and Eurasian Otter's, whilst the Australia Zoo tends to be most well-known for its crocodiles, courtesy of Steve Irwin, Australia's foremost conservationist and TV personality. Learn more about the Australia Zoo and Steve Irwin at HubPages.

Make sure when you visit the Costa Brava, that you add Barcelona to your "Must See" list and don't forget the Barcelona Zoo for all those amazingly diverse creatures! Go to Barcelona Zoo for all the most up-to-date information and opening times.

Spanish Villa holidays Beneath the Volcano

I've come across a great blog all about Tenerife, Spain that I think you will love to read. Living Beneath the Volcano is one Mancunian's view on life in Tenerife, an island dedicated to Spanish villa holidays, or so we Brit's tend to think.

Take a look at Dragojac's entertaining writing and decide for yourself! I think you'll agree that you really DO have to get under the skin of a place to really love it.

Where is Costa Brava? It Must Be South Africa!

Where is Costa Brava? Well, most of us would say Spain, of course, but this particular African Hoopoe bird seems to have mistaken Costa Brava, Spain with South Africa!

I went yesterday to our Costa Brava holiday rental to show TorreMirona Golf & Spa Resort to a friend over visiting from the UK and to go for lunch in one of my favourite spots on the coast at Tamariu.

Imagine my surprise and delight on gazing at the spectacular Pyrenees Mountains to see the wonderful African Hoopoe bird sitting in our garden!

They are often seen throughout the summer months in southern and central Europe on golf courses and coastal fields, as they escape the South African winter and I guess that he was just stocking up on grubs to fuel him for his long journey south to the warmer climes of South Africa for their summer.

So if you like bird watching, why not come to Villa Amora for your next holiday and spot your own exotic birds from the comfort of your own villa rental Costa Brava.

Costa Brava, Spain Launches Blog

Well, here I go again. A new blog. Perhaps there is something called a blogaholic, because I think I am definitely beginning to be one. Johannesburg to Cape Town is one all about South Africa and the wonderful trips you can experience with Tailor Made South Africa Travel.

Life at Casa Palmer is all about our move to Barcelona, Spain and our life here in this magnificent part of the world and as a follow-on from that this blog is about our villa in the Costa Brava region of Catalonia.

Costa-Brava-Spain is the new website, which admittedly has only got the home page up as we speak, but in the fullness of time will be your one-stop information site for Costa Brava. It is a fantastic area for holidays and over the coming weeks, I'll show you around. Stay tuned for more!
